Jenny Today I will show you how to make a Christmas bouquet with baubles yourself! For the Advent season, I like to decorate our table for Christmas and often make a festive table decoration from flowers or fir branches. This year I got my hands on flower arranger lid. This is a great alternative arrangement to create wonderful bouquets quickly and easily. The flower arranger lid is not only suitable for inserting flowers, the holes can also be used to attach more decoration elements, such as Christmas decorations.
I use red roses, green twigs and white gypsophila for the Christmas bouquet. I don’t put the baubles in the bouquet, instead I attach them to the lid.
With the following step-by-step instructions, you can easily make the Christmas flower arrangement with Christmas baubles yourself!
Tools
Here you can see which tools I used for the Christmas bouquet. You will need floral scissors to cut the flowers and branches, and scissors to cut the nylon thread that will be used to attach the Christmas baubles.
Materials
I used these materials for the Christmas bouquet: a glass vase, a flower arranger lid, Christmas decorations (baubles) and nylon thread. You also need different flowers and branches (e.g. gypsophila, red roses, cypress branches or fir branches).

Instructions | Christmas bouquet with baubles
Step 1: Attach Christmas baubles to the flower arranger lid
I use nylon cord to attach the Christmas baubles to the flower arranger lid.
I cut a piece of string and thread it through the opening of the flower arranger lid.
Then I tie the thread to an opening at the very edge of the lid.
In this way I distribute several baubles all over the lid so that the baubles hang nicely around.
I simply place the lid on the vase.
Step 2: Cut flowers and branches
So that the flowers and branches can absorb water well and last a long time, I cut them with my flower scissors.
I also remove the bottom leaves so they don’t stand in the water and it stays clean.
Tip: Before you cut the stems, measure the desired length on the vase!
I also remove the lower leaves from the roses and cut off the stems with the flower scissors.
Step 3: Insert flowers and branches
Now the flowers and branches can be inserted. This works very easily with the help of the flower arranger lid. This gives the stems support and replaces tying the bouquet.
I start with the green branches and insert them into the holes so they are evenly spaced.
Then comes the white gypsophila.
Finally, I distribute the red roses evenly.
